Locins Hub

Your region decides for itself again.

For tourism boards, cities, municipalities and states. Locins gives regions and locals their home back.

Guests who love nature still enjoy it to the full.

On request. We get back to you in person.

An island with a lake, mountains, forest and a village, with green pins on it and a protective dome above

What stays in your region's hands.

  • Your data

Data stays with the businesses and in the EU.

  • Your visitors

You show guests quiet times and places away from the crowds before they set off.

  • Local, not chains

Locals recommend the bakery, the farm shop and the café that only the village knows.

  • The money stays here

Guests book directly with the people who live there, even when they plan with ChatGPT or Claude.

  • The “With Locins” sticker

Guests see at the door which shops, cafés and hosts work with Locins.

  • Locals take part

As Adventurers they show their region, as Pioneers they test Locins and help shape new ideas.

What you already have stays: event data, guest registration and guest card are connected, not replaced.

Each business decides what the region sees.

Joining is voluntary. A business becomes a member and chooses what it shares, such as weekly occupancy or guests' country of origin.

Every share has a purpose and an end date. The business can withdraw it at any time, and the line to the region disappears at once.

The region sees totals. Never individual guests, never names.

  • Holiday flat

  • Lakeside café

  • Campsite

  • Bike hire

Four example businesses: a holiday flat balcony, a lakeside café terrace, a lake shore in the morning, bikes on a riverside promenade

The four businesses are an example.

The guest card lives in the Locins Pass.

The guest checks in with a business and the guest card is on their phone straight away. No paper, no second account.

Partner perks, admissions, bus and train: whatever your guest card offers, guests carry it in their Locins Pass, in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet too.

More about the Locins Pass

For cities, town marketing and retailers

Is there Locins here?

Bring travellers back to the shops and cafés in town. The Locins App shows who nearby takes part. The “With Locins” sticker on the door shows guests who takes part.

Anyone who breaks the rules loses the sticker.

About the sticker

Reports from real figures. Without raw data.

Businesses share finished figures, not guest lists.

You use them in Locins, in your analytics tool or in your own data platform.

Technical

The figures flow live and without copies, using OpenSharing, the open standard of the Linux Foundation.Match rooms: the region and its businesses calculate together without seeing each other's data. For example: how many holiday flat guests also visited the museum?Every share has a purpose, an end date and can be withdrawn. Every access is logged. Data is stored in the EU, in Germany or Switzerland on request.Whatever your region already publishes openly, Locins reads too: places and events from the German National Tourist Board's knowledge graph, events and trails via AlpineBits DestinationData, timetables in GTFS format. All mapped to schema.org.The figures come from the summit, the top data layer (for developers: gold). A sharing server based on OpenSharing serves them as open tables (Iceberg or Delta). Recipients sign in via OIDC with short-lived keys.

How Locins OS shares

This is how your region looks on Locins.

Every region gets its own page: places, locals, events and the way there by train. The example shows Lake Constance.

Voucher

Outlook

Outlook: your region's voucher, redeemable at every place that takes part. The money stays in the region.

Who runs your region's network.

Locins in the middle only connects: calendars, bookings and permissions. Data stays with the businesses and in the EU, and guests book directly with the place.

Who runs it can change. If you take over later, we transfer the account with everything in it. Each business confirms its shares with you anew.

Common questions.

Do businesses have to switch systems?

No. Locins connects to what they use, such as Airbnb, calendar and till.

We already have a guest card. What happens to it?

It stays. Locins connects to it and guests carry it in their Locins Pass.

We are not ready yet. Can we still start?

Yes. Locins can begin with locals and Adventurers, as “Managed by Locins”. You take over whenever you want.
