Locins Hub

Locals for locals.

Locins is made for the people who live in a region, not only for its guests.

The Locins App is free and without limits, for locals too.

Local shops. Local originals.

Locals recommend the bakery, the farm shop and the café that only the village knows. They share what grows and is made in their area.

The “With Locins” sticker on the door shows who takes part.

A wooden crate of local vegetables and apples, next to a jar of beans and a seedling.

What you get out of it when you live here.

  • Quieter places

The region shows guests in the app where it is busy and where it is quiet. That spreads visitors out.

  • The money stays here

What guests spend with local businesses stays in the region.

  • Your region decides

The region decides for itself what it shows guests. Data stays with the businesses and in the EU.

  • Local businesses get seen

Even the small shop can be found in the Locins App, and in guests' AI when they plan with ChatGPT or Claude.

  • The app is for you too

Use it for adventures in your own region as well.

  • Take part

As an Adventurer you show what makes your region special. As a Pioneer you test Locins and help shape new ideas.

More about Locins Community
Colourful houses along a river beneath snow-covered mountains, with bikes against a bridge railing in front.

For the region, not at its expense.

Locins should never drain a region. That is why the app plans the way there by train, recommends what grows and is made locally, and shows places away from the crowds.

What Locins does for the region

Why we build this.

To see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life.

Motto of LIFE magazine in the film ‘The Secret Life of Walter Mitty’ (2013)

We are adventurers ourselves. We love to travel, and we want to change something: guests should enjoy a region, and the people who live there should get something out of it.
